Hospital Antibiograms are a summary of antimicrobial susceptibilities of local bacterial isolates submitted to the hospital’s clinical Microbiology lab. They are commonly used to help guide empiric antimicrobial therapy and are useful in identifying and monitoring trends of antimicrobial resistance from year-to-year. They are updated and published once per year. The different color-coded sections indicate hospital costs, with expense increasing from green section to red section.
